Saguaro Health Care is a great introduction to a career in health care/medicine. You will learn medical terminology, anatomy & physiology, pathology and basic health care skills. Interested students can obtain their Nursing Assistant license upon course completion.

This is a magnet program held at Saguaro High School open to all Jr. and Sr. SUSD students. Students must have an Academic GPA of 2.5 or better and have achieved a C or better in Biology to be eligible for admission into the class. Bus Transportation is provided upon request. (see your home school office for information)

What are the program costs?
$100.00 lab/program fee payable at your school bookstore. ($25.00 per Quarter)
Lab fee covers scrub shirt for clinical rotations, CPR certification, lab supplies, and incidental costs related to clinical rotations.

$65.00 fee for a DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Where do I get my Fingerprint Clearance Card?
We will do this in class. You can also obtain this through Department of Public Safety.
